Alexander Bianchi is an actor and movement artist based in NYC. He has trained extensively with laboratory theatre company Double Edge Theatre, as well as various members of SITI Company. Recent credits include a site-specific adaptation of Romeo and Juliet (The New Euripides Company), Cada Luna Azul (Double Edge Theatre), Iphigenia 2.0 (Cleveland Public Theater), and the world premiere staged reading of Romulus Linney’s final play, The Flower Hunter.
Yuki Fukui, originally from Tokyo Japan, is a NYC based dancer, choreographer and teacher. In 2006 she moved to NYC to attend Eugene Lang College The New School for Liberal Arts. While her time there she had the privilege of performing works by Takehiro Ueyama, Karla Wolfangle, Rebecca Stenn, Jose Limon(staged by Sarah Stackhouse), Anna Sokolow (staged by Jim May), Jill Johnson, to name a few. Since graduation in 2010 with a B.A in the Arts concentration in Dance, Fukui has performed with HIU-Shudan, DajhiaIngram Dance, The Movement Collective, Amalgamate Dance Company GAS Series and Dirty Soles Dance. Currently, Fukui is an artist represented by Bellus Productions LLC and dances with Mersiha Mesihovic/CircuitDebris, Gwen Rakotovao Company. Fukui also directs a dance academy and the teen&professional company on Long Island, NY.
Naomi King was born on the South Pacific island of New Caledonia. Having missionary parents, Naomi was raised in the creative arts ministries. With the Youth With A Mission organization Naomi performed all over the world including Paris, Barcelona, all over Kenya, Australia and many more. This fostered her creativity and love of speaking through dance. Naomi began her formal dance training in Long Beach, California at the age of ten. She studied ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, and voice at Center Stage Dance Academy where she was until recently on faculty serving as a teacher and choreographer for 12 years. Naomi continued her dance training on scholarship in the CSULB Dance Department, broadening her studies to modern dance, and contact improvisation. After graduating with her BA in Dance in 2009 Naomi went on to work with Monat Dance and Tiffany Billings as a soloist. She has served as a principle dancer and rehearsal director for Dorcas Roman Dance Theater and been with the company for 7 years. Naomi is currently residing in New York and continues to serve as an ambassador of DRDT on the East Coast. Having a passion for the healing arts she works as a Massage Therapist for a sports therapy clinic in New York and travels often working on professional athletes.
Katrina Leung is originally from Hong Kong and is now a performing artist based in New York. She has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a minor in Dance from Haverford College/Bryn Mawr College. She began her ballet training at Carol Bateman School of Dancing in Hong Kong and expanded range of dance styles through New York City Dance Alliance, Joffrey Ballet and Complexions Contemporary Ballet summer intensives. Her recent credits include Born Dancing, Powerhouse Theater, A Sketch of New York, Current Harbor and Artist’s Sandbox. She is incredibly excited to play and experiment as a Hungry Ghost!
Larissa Skye Van Rensselaer, originally from the US Virgin Islands, is a Brooklyn based theater artist. She is core member of LubDub, a new physical theater company (lubdubtheatre.org). Her passion lies in devising original ensemble based work with an emphasis on the truth held within the moving body. She graduated from Skidmore College with a Bachelor of Science in Theater. She has trained with the Moscow Art Theatre and participated in the inaugural year of the SITI Company’s Conservatory. NY Credits include: The Comfort of Numbers (Mabou Mines), This is How I Don’t Know How to Dance (SITI Company), Guarded (Powers Productions, scenic designer).
Former fast-food cook from El Paso, Texas. Lorenzo has developed and performed in site-specific and installation pieces in Europe, Mexico, and the US. He is a part of The LIDA Project, most recently presenting at HERE Arts Center “El Simio! (a contemporary retelling of Eugene O’Neill’s ‘The Hairy Ape’)”.
In New York, Beth regularly performs with Medicine Show Theater, Rady&Bloom, International WOW Company, Vox Novus. In addition, she has performed this year with Cosmic Orchid, Brooklyn New Music Collective, Lower East Side Festival, Davenport Theater Festival, ABC No Rio. She is thrilled to be joining Megan and Hassan for Ghost Card.
